Cottleville Firefighters Donate to Youth In Need PDF Print E-mail
Friday, 11 September 2009

Cottleville Firefighters Community Outreach recently went shopping for troubled area children. They went to Deals-Nothing Over a Dollar and spent $515 in book bags, pencils, pens, paper, glue, scissors, tape, finger paint, crayons, toothbrushes and paste, sunscreen, puzzles, games, paper towels, hand soap, and hand sanitizer. The store manager, Roger Packard, was so moved that he decided to throw in $50 worth of supplies from his own poActive Imagecket. All of the items were donated to Youth In Need's Adopt a Classroom Campaign. Youth In Need is a nonprofit organization that is based in St. Charles and seeks to assist and educate troubled and underprivledged children.
