On Tuesday morning (8/4) Cottleville Fire District assisted O'Fallon Fire District on a residential house fire. Cottleville's Tower Ladder 8712 was utilized for an aerial fire attack.

The Cottleville Firefighters would like to thank all of the generous people who donated money to MDA last month. The Cottleville Firefighters finished with a total collection of $5830.61. At a national level in 2007, IAFF firefighters collected 23.5 million dollars for MDA, which demolished the previous record by 2 million dollars!

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. -- A fire broke out in a home without smoke detectors early Saturday (8/8), killing six members of a family, officials said. The father escaped by leaping out a second-story window and was being treated for injuries.The names of the victims, believed to be four children and two adults, weren't released Saturday. Autopsies were scheduled.
